This very stylish pendant is by the Swedish silversmith & jeweller Alton.
The pendant is a circular open centred hollow band with sloped sides.
There is a round faceted clear quartz in a silver rubover setting that is attached to the inside top of the pendant.
The 'shoulders' of the pendant have been cut to form oval sections and to allow an associated silver torque to run through the top.
The rear of the pendant is stamped 'Alton' '925' and has the Swedish National Control Mark of the three crowns in a trefoil cartouche, 'F' in a round cartouche being the town mark for Falkoping and the date mark 'B10' for 1976.
The associated torque has a crossover fastening and is hallmarked by the London Assay Office.
