The front section of each earring is made of a domed and curved brushed platinum plate.

There are three round diamonds flush set in a diagonal line in the top of the platinum plate.

The six diamonds have a total estimated weight of 0.15ct.

The back of each earring is a domed curved brushed 18ct yellow gold plate that is visible when the earrings are worn.

The two plates are hinged together and there is a post for pierced ears that clips into the top of the back gold plate.

The reverse of the platinum plate is stamped 'Pt 950' for platinum and with the maker's initials.

The gold plate is stamped '750' for 18ct gold.

The earrings could be worn with the gold plate to the front.
