18ct yellow gold & blue sapphire drops for earrings

These 18ct yellow gold drops are for stud or hoop earrings.

The top has a round fitting to go over the post of the stud or hoop earring to sit between the back of the earring and the front of the ear lobe. The butterfly will then be put on in the normal way.

There is an articulated long 18ct yellow gold wire dropping off which is a pear shaped blue sapphire in a rubover setting.

The two sapphires have a total estimated weight of 1.95ct.

The drops are hallmarked by the London Assay Office for 18ct gold, 2025 and bear the sponsor's mark 'A&SP' for Alan & Sue Poultney and are lasered with 'Scarab' and the Jewels by Scarab winged beetle logo.
