Made of textured 18ct yellow gold each earring consists of two sections.
The top section is an irregular shaped plate mounted with an oval cabochon rhodolite garnet set in four bar shaped claws.
The two garnets have an estimated total weight of 2.60ct.
Hanging from the top section is a larger irregular shaped open backed plate mounted with a polished slice of watermelon tourmaline set in five bar shaped claws.
The two watermelon tourmalines have an estimated total weight of 6.80ct.
The polished 18ct yellow gold back plates have posts for pierced ears & 18ct yellow gold butterflies.
The back plates are hallmarked by the London Assay Office for 2024, 18ct gold & bear the sponsor's mark ‘A&SP’ for Alan & Sue Poultney.
The Jewels by Scarab winged beetle logo & the word ‘Scarab’ are lasered into the polished back plates.
