This 18ct yellow gold pendant features uncut green & pink tourmaline sourced from Alan Poultney Gems.
In the top of the textured organic 18ct yellow gold pendant is an abstract triangular piece of uncut green tourmaline weighing approximately 1.4gms that has been rubover set into the 18ct yellow gold.
Suspended from the top section is a textured 0rganic 18ct yellow gold drop.
There is an abstract cut diamond with an approximate weight of 0.59ct rubover set into the top of the drop above a long uncut hexagonal pink tourmaline crystal weighing approximately 1.19gms.
There are two 18ct gold loops behind the top section of the pendant through which runs an 18ct yellow gold trace chain.
The chain contains a hallmarked 18ct yellow gold winged beetle shaped plate lasered with "Scarab' on one side.
The pendant is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for 2025, 18ct gold and bears the sponsor's mark 'A&SP' for Alan & Sue Poultney and 'Scaab' and the Jewels by Scarab winged beetle logo have been lasered into the rear of the pendant.
The pendant is presented in its own custom made box.
Sometimes the uncut gemstone is just as nice left in its natural state as it is when polished. This, as with the case of the pink tourmaline crystal in this pendant, allows the growth pattern to be revealed and will also reveal the gemstone's birthmarks of creation i.e. its flaws! (Thanks to Tim Harris for the 'birthmark of creation' quote)
