In the centre of the platinum ring is a certified 6.05ct cushion cut green tourmaline set in four 18ct yellow gold bar claws within an 18ct yellow gold basket setting.
On each side of the tourmaline are 3 French cut diamonds with a total estimated weight of 0.60ct each set at an angle in mille-grained rubover platinum settings. The middle diamond is set slightly higher than the other two diamonds.
The platinum shank broadens at the base.
The ring is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for platinum & 18ct gold, 2022 & bears Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee mark and the sponsor's mark ‘A&SP’ for Alan & Sue Poultney. The Jewels by Scarab London winged beetle logo & the word ‘Scarab’ are lasered into the shank.
The green tourmaline has been sourced from Alan Poultney Gems and has been cut by Alan from rough material selected by him.
